PBB Alumni – Previous members

Robert, our trumpet player and primary composer, was the first person Alex called on to join PBB in 2023. Robert is an exceptional musician with a wealth of experience in playing and composing.

He is a classically trained ex-chorister, a highly skilled pianist, and, of course, an incredibly versatile trumpet player, having performed in various orchestras, concert bands, and jazz ensembles.

Robert’s musical journey has taken him far and wide, including a tour in Sicily. His talent in composition is unparalleled – he embarked on writing a full symphony for an orchestra at the age of fourteen and completed it by the time he was fifteen. Robert’s dedication and talent make him the perfect fit for his role.

Our trombonist during 2023 and 2024, Harry’s journey as an ex-chorister has filled his life with a deep love for music. From classical pieces to modern tunes, he has embraced a wide range of musical genres, honing his skills and expressing his creativity through his playing of the trombone. His participation in multiple improvisation concerts has not only showcased his technical prowess but has also revealed his ability to infuse emotion and passion into his performances. Despite being the youngest, Harry’s ambition and skill set have set him apart, allowing him to not only keep up with the rest of the band but also inspire anyone who watches him play.

Stephanie Pace joined us as sax player for part of our 2024 tour of Cornwall and her amazing ability to just slot-in and become part of the band was outstanding. Miss you Steff!
